Binaural Beat Frequencies- What You Don't See is the thing that You Get

By Clayton Twiss

While it is your heartbeat that keeps you alive, your mind is what makes you undoubtedly human. Apart from being the centre of your mental activities, it's also what keeps your muscle mass working, regulates your consciousness and is the source of your emotions.

Therefore, taking care of your brain is a great way to help it perform its functions even better. You may think that something as potent as your brain would require something big to effect huge transformations. Yet, little stimuli like binaural beat frequencies can already go a long way.

I remember when I was teaching students the best way to speak Mandarin. After many years of instruction, I have seen that the most important thing to master this language depends on the smallest thing: intonation.

Because each word within the language is monosyllabic, the meaning may be entirely dependent on the tone. The tone can spell the real difference between the words "long" and "old" or "rice" and "annoying".

This is the way binaural beat frequencies operate. These are beats of varying frequencies that cannot be distinguished by the ears yet when they are subjected to your auditory nerves, they can potentially do wonders to your brain by stimulating appropriate brainwave frequencies.

The reason being, binaural beat frequencies are intended for your mind. And instead of being like audible tones, they are stimuli which go with your present brain frequencies and try to change them to desired brainwave frequencies.

What dominant brainwaves you have determine your consciousness, mental processes, moods, feelings and even cause physical sensations. Every one of these from such a tiny, invisible stimuli as powerful as binaural beat frequencies.

So never underestimate whatever is too tiny to be seen or too low in hertz to be heard. Great things in daily life begin and come from little ones as what binaural beat frequencies prove to be.
