There are a lot of people who aren't aware that this type of thing exists as memory supplements. Individuals have been taking fish oil products for lots of health-related dilemmas but thought these were mentally sharper since they felt better. This really is only area of the story.

If you do not curently have a copy, go to a library and look at Homers Iliad and Odyssey. These massive works alongside many others are part of the oral tradition. These were recited from memory well before the works were written down. Although declining in use, anthropologists found several traditions being used up until World War Two.

What could be a common connection?

Thousands of future research reports are going to the two omega 3 essential fatty acids present in fish oil - DHA and EPA. These fats used to be abundant in our diet - leafy greens, wild sport, wild uncontaminated fish and various nuts. Their presence has been suffering to the point that numerous health care professionals think the not enough EPA and DHA is the greatest nutritional problem facing the Western world.

What does this need to do with memory supplements?

Quite a bit. DHA comprises 25% of the dry weight of the head. I repeat, 25%. You can find more than 100 billion neuron cells whose interaction with one another allows the brain to function on its many levels. Storing and recalling information from memory is one of these brilliant projects. Moving into the cell walls, DHA is the most complex, most flexible and "fastest" of the brain fats. Its ability to flip flop between hundreds of different styles, billions of times per 2nd, enables us to think. A lack of it will at the very least partially cause most of the brain diseases that I mentioned earlier.

What should we do?

First, ignore marketing claims. An omega 3 fish oil complement that DHA and EPA in it'll do the trick. EPA allows better blood circulation through the entire body. Since the mind demands huge amounts of air from the lungs, this fat is also important. It's highly unlikely that anyone in the West will get enough omega 3s from the diet, so fish oil supplements are necessary.

Your Read it is to produce a commitment. I am seeing DHA put into many different items in grocery stores. There are sugar packed cereals, candy bars and even milk that claim to be memory supplements [I am not kidding]. The amounts are too low and can be detrimental. The omega 3s do not stay in the body more than the usual few days. Anybody who is serious about improving their memory and overall health must take an omega 3 fish oil supplement daily.
